Yard Hand Switchboard Manufacturing (Casual)
Location: Ferryden Park or Direk, SA
Employment Type: Casual, with potential for permanent full-time employment
We are seeking reliable and motivated Yard Hands to join a switchboard manufacturing team. This is a casual position offering consistent hours and the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility by maintaining the yard, handling materials, and assisting with general warehouse and production tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
Receiving, moving, and storing materials and equipment.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard and warehouse.
Assisting with stock movement and inventory organisation.
Supporting the production team with general labouring duties as required.
Operating forklifts and other equipment (where licensed).
Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a yard hand, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Current forklift licence (highly regarded).
Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
