Through a portfolio of established pool and pool-cover brands, our client designs, manufactures and supports innovative solutions for residential pool ownership, working with a network of independent dealers and installation partners across international markets.
What You Will Be Doing:
Our client is seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor to join their team in Yatala. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, starting at 7am working 8hr days, you will be responsible for the following duties on site:
- Supervise yard staff and coordinate the safe loading and dispatch of fibreglass swimming pools
- Ensure all loading and load restraint activities comply with WHS requirements, National Heavy Vehicle Law and relevant procedures
- Conduct final quality, cleaning and presentation inspections prior to pools being dispatched
- Coordinate with Operations and Transport teams to ensure customer orders and transfers are prepared and dispatched within required timeframes
- Maintain efficient yard operations including stock location/scanning, stocktakes, housekeeping, safety reporting and incident management
What You Will Need:
- Drivers license & reliable transport
- Forklift ticket & experience
- CN or C6 Crane Licence & experience
- Minimum 34 years' experience within a logistics, transport or yard supervisory position
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills with the ability to supervise and mentor yard staff
- Good understanding of WHS, load restraint, transport compliance and working to operational deadlines
