About the Client
Our Client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality concrete products, supplying across Queensland from their Brendale facility. With a strong focus on safety, reliability, and team culture, they are currently seeking a Yard Hand with forklift experience to join their crew. This role offers full-time hours and the opportunity to transition to a permanent role after 36 months.
Hours for this role are 10:30AM start, 4:30PM finish, Option to start earlier Friday
What you will be doing
As a Forklift Operator/Machine op you will be responsible for the below duties:
- Operating a forklift to move pallets of concrete sleepers and materials
- Manual handling and general yard labouring (Required when not operating)
- Assisting in Batch plant machine operation
- Maintaining a clean and safe yard environment
What you will need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- High Risk Forklift Licence with minimum 12 months experience
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Hardworking and able to work independently
- Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Previous concrete/precast experience preferred
- Reliable
