Accounts Officer

Join a close knit team in Morningside QLD
Monday to Friday. No weekend work
About the Role
Our client is a privately owned electrical and communications contracting company who delivers electrotechnology solutions, specialising in commercial, industrial and direct client services. They are seeking a full time Accounts Officer to join there Morningside team. You will be responsible for invoicing, payments, account management, end to end accounts payable, daily bank and credit card reconciliations, preparation and analysis of management reports and adhoc financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to the following:
⢠Monitoring daily communications and answering any invoice queries
⢠Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct
⢠Accounts filing
⢠Working with spreadsheets
⢠Entering in supplier invoices
⢠End to end accounts payable
⢠Timely and accurate processing of vendor bill and payments
⢠Daily bank and credit card reconciliations
⢠Fortnight payrolls
⢠Preparation and analysis of management reports
⢠Fling and archiving
⢠Ad hoc finance tasks
Qualifications and Experience
⢠Ability to work as part of a small team and take direction accurately
⢠Competent IT skills
⢠Excel experience
⢠Experience with accounting systems
⢠Ability to learn new ERP
⢠High attention to detail
