About the Role:

Workpac are seeking an experienced Accounts/Administration Assistant for a permanent, part time opportunity with our industrial Client based in Brisbane.

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and positive Accounts/Administration Assistant to provide day to day support to the company. Reporting to the Management Accountant, the successful candidate will hold previous accounts administration experience and will also be able to support the sales team with general adhoc tasks. This is a permanent opportunity based in Redland area of Brisbane and would suit someone looking for part time work of around 21 hours per week, days and hours are flexible.

Key Duties:

  • Assist with accounts processing including accounts receivable and payable

  • Prepare daily banking requirements, process payments of creditors invoices and liaise with debtors regarding payment issues as required

  • Process fortnightly pays and month superannuation and payroll tax payments

  • Assist with any adhoc and administration support for the sales team including data entry, order processing and minute taking

  • Assist with general office management duties where required such as procurement of office supplies

Experience Required:

  • Must hold excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must holds strong knowledge of debtor and creditor payment processing

  • Must be able to demonstrate organisation and analytical skills

  • Must have high computer skills and competent in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel

  • Looking for someone with a positive attitude to join a friendly team

  • Must have full working rights in Australia
