Job description

The Position:

WorkPac Professional are currently seeking and experienced Contracts Advisor - Maintenance based onsite with a Monday to Friday roster. Camp is available for this position if required. The Contract Advisor will be based onsite within the Maintenance Department. Within this position you will be responsible for supporting Contract/Vendor Owners in the practical implementation of the Contractor Management Framework (CMF) for contractors engaged to perform work on site. 

Responsibilities will Include: 

  •  Advise internal stakeholders on suitable course of action with regards to sourcing, engagement and performance management of contract partners

  • Onboard and maintain any required contract partners using CMF processes

  • Develop, complete and maintain work scopes, risk assessments and CMS checklist/SCS documentation in conjunction with stakeholders

  • Monitor, support and sustain contract partnersâ compliance to the Safety and Health Management System

  • Facilitate communication channels for contract partners at site

  • Coordinate issues, settlement & disputes with Supply & Contract Owners/Superintendents

  • Schedule, facilitate, record and distribute meetings required under CMF routines

  • Document management and record keeping

  • Participate in field verification of contract partner activities

  • Facilitate any change in contract partner work scopes, including changes to supporting documentation and processes

  • Manage Long Term Resource Contractor (LTRC) solution for applicable contract partners in accordance with the ARIS Global Business Process Map, which includes:

  • Draft Correspondence for Site Specific changes to Contract

  • Review and monitor contract KPIâs

  • Minimum of 5 years commercial or contract experience with prior experience within a similar position Mining, Resource or Similar Environment

  • 1SAP Experience

  • The ability to maintain positive and friendly communication with clients, residents and colleagues

  • Current "C" Class Driver's License and Own Transport

  • Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11or BMA Core Induction

  • Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
