About the Role

  • WorkPac are currently seeking a Business Services Advisor to lead Rioâs Yandicoogina Administration team for a 12 month secondment. FIFO from Perth, 8:6 roster.

  • Duties include:

  • Responsible for providing strong leadership and direction to the centralised Yandi administration team. Provide context and purpose, set priorities, stretch goals, provide coaching and feedback, create a positive environment that celebrates success and promotes excellence

  • Be resourceful enough to seek out the expectations from site leadership and ensure the level of service provided to operational departments is in strong alignment with those expectations

  • Implement and monitor rigorous administration processes and systems

  • Establish and maintain rapport with stakeholders throughout the business, beyond the site boundaries

  • Implement a process to monitor and identify opportunities to reduce discretional spend

  • The direct liaison with the Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) and maintaining the Legal and Other Requirements System (LAORS)

  • Providing direct administration support to the Managers

  • Leading site-based projects in the areas of logistics optimisation, management of change (MoC) systems and document control process improvement

  • Leading the site digital communications improvement pathway, incl. ownership of the siteâs SharePoint page, short video creation (Shootsta), PowerBI Dashboard and other communication mediums

  • Supporting the site as the key contact for flights and accommodation

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years leadership experience (within operational or technical teams)

  • The ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills

  • Excellent organisational, priority setting and decision-making skills

  • Ability to focus on understanding and exceeding customer expectations.

  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to reach consensus and common goals.

  • Strong ability to lead change and challenge the status quo.

  • High level of discretion, dealing with confidential and sensitive information.

  • WA C Class Drivers Licence
