Agi Truck Driver

• $32 per hour Casual + Penalties

About the Role

Our client is currently looking for an Agitator Truck Driver for work within metropolitan Adelaide. Successful candidates must be willing to work out of branches located in Elizabeth, Thebarton and Lonsdale.

Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring the mixing, inspection and delivery of premixed concrete is carried out in a manner which promotes quality and reliability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivering Concrete to our customer

• Daily cleaning of the Agitator Truck

• Operating the vehicle in a safe manner & comply with safety policies and have a strong safety awareness

• Daily Pre start checks on your vehicle

• Loading and Unloading of Concrete

• Providing feedback to the batch plant & business regarding customer experience

• Operate in accordance with traffic regulations both on and off the road

Skills and Experience

• Experience driving heavy rigid trucks preferably in a built up environment

• Deliver product in a timely manner to site by the most appropriate legally allowable route to meet customer expectations

• Strong commitment to safety, health & environmental responsibilities

• HR (Heavy Rigid) license is essential

• Front end loader ticket would be very beneficial

• Construction White Card

• Previous experience in concrete industry is an advantageous

• Customer service focus

• Strong communication skills

• A willingness to work at an underground mining operation

• Proactive approach to safety

• Similar experience working in the concrete industry would be an advantage.
