About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Approvals Delivery Advisor to join the team at Rio Tinto based at Central Park, Perth. The successful candidates will work an Monday to Friday roster. This role will be casual with an ongoing duration.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Working closely with internal business and other approvals experts to develop the most optimised approvals strategy for the Resource Development rehabilitation strategy that effectively delivers approvals.

• Demonstrated ability to produce reports and documentation of a high standard.

• Administering and managing the Approvals Request process for assigned suite of projects/sites.

• Managing multiple stakeholders and facilitating resolution of issues to enable authorisation of Approvals Requests to execute Resource Evaluation activities.

• Issuing Approvals Requests through the dedicated Approvals Requests Coordination System.

• Leading Approvals Requests co-ordination meetings for assigned suite of projects/sites.

Skills & Experience Required:

• A strong understanding of the Government approvals framework relevant to the resource sector.

• Experience in working within approvals and GIS systems.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver system improvements and lead change management processes.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• A Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline.

• Strong project management and written communication skills.

• Sound negotiation and influencing skills.
