About the Role

WorkPac has a position available for an experienced automotive electrician at Rio Tinto Iron Ore site Hope Downs 1.

Reporting to the site???s Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will conduct maintenance and fault diagnostics on electrical and air conditioning systems, either in the field or workshop on the fleet of heavy mobile equipment below:

• Dump Trucks - Komatsu 830E

• Loader - Komatsu WA1200, CAT 994, LeTourneau 2350

• Grader - 16M/H

• Dozer - CAT D10/11

• Excavator - Hitachi EX1900 to EX5600

• Drill Rigs - Atlas Copco D65, Terex SKSS

You will also inspect and determine equipment condition and assess its suitability to return to service.

Requirements what

• Relevant Australian recognised trade certification

• Demonstrated experience working on the above (or equivalent) machinery

• Refrigeration Licence

• Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)

• Experience driving around open pits
