Basic Riggers

• $37.50/hour + penalties

• Bunbury Location

• Immediate Start

What you will be doing

WorkPac is currently seeking a Basic Riggers for a role based in Bunbury. Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Assist with dual lifts and mathematical assessment

• Align level and anchor machinery

• Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving using hand and power tools

• Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures using bolts and clamps

• Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces using chainfalls, gin poles and gallows frames

• Dismantle and store rigging equipment

• Fabricate, set up and repair rigging, supporting structures, hoists and pulling gear using hand and power tools

• Update rigging register

• Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task

• Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe area. Lock them away or return to store when not required

What you will need

• Valid Drivers License and reliable transport

• Basic Rigging Ticket

• White Card

• Able to pass DAS
