What you will be doing:

As a Production Officer, your mission is to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of our concrete plant in Mornington. Your role will focus on maximizing the performance of our team, contractors, plant, and fleet while upholding Holcim's operational standards and delivering exceptional customer service.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Safety:Prioritize safety by complying with our SHE Management System, supporting safety schedules, conducting toolbox talks, and reporting incidents.

Environment / Sustainability:Manage water and waste systems, maintain environmental compliance, and build positive relationships with the local community.

Production of Concrete: Ensure plant and equipment readiness, produce high-quality concrete, manage truck rosters, and support job scheduling.

Stock Management:Order raw materials, maintain stock levels, and oversee stock control processes.

Maintenance: Conduct maintenance inspections, routine equipment upkeep, and contractor engagement.

People: Lead by example, motivate the team, and manage plant staff, drivers, and contractors.

Administration:Handle daily plant administration, banking, and reporting.

Workers Compensation: Comply with suitable duties and return-to-work obligations.

Other Duties:Adapt to varying tasks in line with your training and skills.

Decision-Making Authority: In this role, you will have the authority to make important decisions, including setting daily rosters, scheduling deliveries, directing teams, ordering materials, and managing meetings.
