About Our Client

Our client is a Townsville based diversified welding & fabrication business. Their portfolio spans across fabrication, repairs & maintenance as well as construction of locomotives. The Company has a strong commitment to Health and Safety, which enables to deliver a larger-scale of projects.

About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to commence at large scale project over the next 6 months in Townsville. You will be working a Monday to Friday roster with potential for Overtime with successful candidates starting as soon as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities

• A "hands on" attitude

• Welding and fabrication work

• Build locomotives

• The ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment.

• Also work well with others in a team environment.

• Be able to solve problems on the go

Skills and Experience

• Qualified Boilermaker

• Must pass weld test

• Experience on locomotives is advantageous

• Good eye for details

• Ability to work unsupervised

• Right to work within Australia
