Our client is one of Queensland's largest fabricators of mechanical pipe spooling, pressure vessels, structural steel fabrication and site installations. With an annual turnover of more than $20 million and with an average of 80 personnel we have enjoyed sustained growth since the Company's foundation in 1974.

About The Role

We currently have multiple positions available for Qualified Boilermakers looking for long term positing in Brisbane. These roles will be working Monday - Friday, 50 hours a week and the duration of these positions are expected to be between 6 to 18 months. The successful candidates will have a strong background as a Boilermaker, and you will have experience working with light and heavy gauge steel, pipe welding and be able to work in a workshop environment. If you are approved for a position with our client, you will be required to complete a weld test and if passed, you will commence immediately.

Duties & Responsibilities

• MIG welding

• Light to heavy gauge structural welding

• Reading & interpreting drawings

• Working autonomously

• Maintaining a clean work space

• Completing project based work as required

• Workshop based work

Skills & Experience

• Must be a trade qualified Boilermaker

• Must have experience welding industrial pipes

• Must be confident passing a weld test

• Previous industry experience is required

• Must be available for long term commitments

• Current Drivers Licence

• Current resume with 2x work related referees

• Available to commence immediately

• A strong work ethic

• Desire to earn a high income $$$$
