What You Will Be Doing

WorkPac are currently seeking Boilermaker to support our Client Rio Tinto at their 7 Mile Rail Facility in the Rollingstock Maintenance workshop. All skill levels will be considered as there is an opportunity for training within the role for the right candidate.

• Welding, fabrication and mechanical maintenance tasks related to ore car maintenance.

• Wagon braking system preventative and breakdown maintenance, Wheel repairs, bearing, draft-gear, bogie and brake system repairs.

• You will be required to learn and then shunt wagons around the workshop.

• Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner

This role is for residential applicants only that reside within the Karratha, Dampier region.

What You Will Need

• Relevant Australian recognised trade certification in Boilermaking

• HR drivers licence is preferred however C class manual licence minimum

• Demonstrated fabrication and repair experience

• Basic understanding of SAP maintenance systems or similar highly regarded
