About the Role

We are currently seeking expression of Interest for Experienced Boilermakers for a 10-month project repairing and replacing Aluminum reduction line cells in Gladstone QLD on various Rosters.

To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:

• Trade Certificate

• Working at heights (valid 2 years)

• Confined space entry (valid 2 years)

• Blue / White Card

• Proven experience in a similar work environment

• Demonstrated ability to safely work as an individual and within a team environment

• Willingness to learn new skills

• Forklift, dogging and rigging tickets would be advantageous

• Demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance

• Ability to make sound judgments to ensure plant integrity is maintained at all times

• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing assigned tasks including but not limited to, cutting in magnetic fields and heavy plate steel welding.

• Demonstrated ability to function effectively as part of a team and to autonomously manage your workload

You will require:

• Trade Qualified Boilermaker

• Heavy Industry and Refractory experience

• Forklift ticket (preferred)

• Gantry crane (preferred)

• Confined Spaces & Working at Heights

• Drivers Licence

• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical All individuals will need to be able to wear respirators â must pass lung function / wear respirators)

• Must be able to work in high magnetic fields (meaning no implants / pacemakers / cochlear implants etc).
