About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Rio Tinto team based in Perth. The successful candidate will work a Monday to Friday roster with adhoc site travel included. This role will be a casual ongoing position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Gather, validate and document business requirements

• Model business processes and identify opportunities for system and process improvements

• Analyse data to assess business value and investigate solution edge-cases

• Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts

• Create scope documents and specifications for solutions

• Create funding applications which include detailed cost benefit

• Simplify information and decipher technical and business jargon so it is easily understood by the team and customer

• Contribute to the preparation of budgets and be accountable for delegated expenditure in accordance with financial management practices

• Contribute to the identification of cost saving initiatives in volume/growth or business improvement utilising appointed tools to capture and manage approved initiatives

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a similar role

• New technology experience would be a bonus

• C Class manual drivers license
