Business Development Manager
About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a permanent role with our electrical security company based in Adelaide.
Our client is a leading electrical security company with a well establish client-base in Adelaide and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sale performance of the market segment, major product groups and development and retention of new major clients in South Australia. The role will include all aspects of sales for the market segments and product groups in consultation with the Sales Manager as well as stakeholders. This is a full time, permanent position with our client.
Develop key relationships with customers to maximise account value and cross selling opportunities
Minimise customer attrition through efficient and effective account management
Target new and potential customers to ensure the new business targets are met
Educate customer on changing technology-based solutions and the value to their customers business
Report on customer and market changes that could affect our sustainability as well as competitor activity
Be aware of sales trends, new market areas and any factors which may affect current or future sales
Work closely with the Operations Department to provide excellent customer service and customer retention. This includes implementation of actions resulting from customer surveys.
Skills and Experience:
3+ years experience in Sales and/or Marketing
Experience in the Electronic Security industry
Proficient in MS Office
Experience in the design and sales of integrated security alarm, access control, CCTV and associated systems (preferred)
Must hold a SA Electrical Security license
SA Drivers Licence
Must hold full working rights in Australia
