Care Manager
About the Role:
To maintain overall accountability and responsibility for the clinical management of health and care outcomes of the Care Recipients in the centre. To exercise critical thinking within an evidenced based framework to ensure the delivery of high quality health and care services which promote optimal health outcomes for the Care Recipients. To provide clinical leadership in the coordination of nursing and health care services. To ensure the facility meets all regulatory compliance requirements in collaboration with the Centre Manager and to deputise in the absence of the Centre Manager as required.

Compliance, Compliments, Complaints and Suggestion Management
Continuous Quality Improvement
Aged Care funding Instrument (ACFI)
Staff Management & Team Support
Workplace Health & Safety
Minimum Requirements of the role:
Previous management experience in a residential aged care facility
Demonstrated experience leading a multi-disciplinary health care team
Knowledge of all relevant Legislation, Regulatory requirements, Professional Standards and Guidelines applicable to work role and willingness to work within same.
Demonstrated industry knowledge with emphasis on ACFI, Infection Control, Quality Systems and Accreditation.
Problem solving and conflict resolution/negotiation skills.
Demonstrated significant evidence of relevant post graduate and administrative management experience in the health care sector.
Additional Factors Essential:
Clinical Nurse qualifications and registration with AHPRA
Completion of or working towards a post graduate qualification in health management, aged care or related discipline
Sound knowledge of Government regulations affecting aged care.
High proficiency in all MS Office
National Police Clearance ??? Current
First Aid ??? Perform CPR ??? Current
Following Manual Handling ??? Current
