About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a Carpenter for the Battery Energy Storage for Spinning Reserve project in Tom Price. This is currently on a 2 weeks on 1 week off roster from Perth to Tom Price. This project is going for 4-5 months with a potential of ongoing work. You will be paid $52-$54 per hour working 12 hour days. Plus a $3 per hour retention bonus. Immediate start.

You will be required to complete RIO Tinto face to face inductions if you haven't got them already, Online Inductions and able to pass a full pre-employment medical.

Scope of Work

• Removal of all unsuitable material, supply, and installation of suitable material.

• Installation of footing and over 150 bored piles maximum of 3 metres in depth.

• Installation of 6 transformer slabs, switch room footings, gen set, load bank and fuel tank slabs.

• Installation of cable ladder supports, underground conduiting works.

• Trenching and installation of 1000m of earthing grid.

• Installation of kerbing and fencing around the project.

Must Have

• Rio Tinto Inductions or is willing to obtain them

• Must have a Current HR Manual Drivers Licence

• Must have carpentry trade certificate

• Previous Concreter/Carpenter experience

• Able to pass a full pre-employment medical
