About Our Client

Our client is a construction company partnered with WorkPac, they are currently seeking an QUALIFIED CARPENTER for a project in Alice Springs(NT).

The role will include working on residential renovations as well as new residential developments.

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking an qualified carpenter to commence immediately. The successful candidate will have an extensive background in a fast paced environment as well as experience in residential carpentry works.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Matches materials to requested design specifications

• Residential renovations and residential developments

• Measures building materials and spaces for installation accurately

• Assembles sturdy and well-constructed floorboards, skirting boards, window frames, doors, door linings, staircases, fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and more

• Incorporates fixtures like door handles and locks, cabinet handles, stairway railing, and other fixtures into design and implementation

• Builds temporary housings and supports for setting concrete (shuttering)

• Crafts furniture with fine detail work and/or utmost sturdiness and quality

• Uses power tools and other tools to cut and shape wood, metal, and other materials

• Communicates with the rest of the construction team

Skills & Qualifications

• MUST be trade qualified (carpenter)

• MUST have own tools

• MUST have White/Blue card

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role

• Clear communication skills

• Current resume with 2x work related referees

• Hold a current Australian driver's license

• Availability for an immediate start

• Reliable and strong work ethics
