• Immediate start with no lengthy onboarding

• $30 p/hour + Penalties + Super

• 7/7 Roster (7 on 7 off) 12 hour days

About the Role

As a Catering assistant, you will help deliver an exceptional customer experience to residents and families on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Heating and serving pre-prepared meals and preparing and serving simple food items, such as sandwiches, salads, toasted foodstuffs etc. Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages Undertaking general waiting duties of both food and/or beverages Cleaning of equipment, preparing tables & sideboards, clearing tables etc.

• Taking customer orders at a table, by telephone or whilst stationed at a fixed ordering point, Serving food and/or beverages at a counter or to tables Providing service from a snack bar, buffet or meal counter

• Receipt of monies, giving change, operation of cash registers, use of electronic swipe input devices etc. Greeting, seating guests, attending a cloakroom etc. under general supervision

• Dishwashing using an automated dishwasher to wash crockery and cutlery. Manual scrubbing and washing may also at times be required. Previous experience in a busy cafe, coffee shop or cafeteria is preferred

What you will need

• Hospitality experience highly desired

• Working with children card (or willing to obtain)

• Police check (or willing to obtain)

• Willingness to be part of a tightly knit team

• Strong work ethic

• 2 Contactable work-related references
