About the Role:

You will be accountable for being part of a team maintaining assets supporting the safe and efficient operation of Rio Tintos Pilbara Network. The team is accountable for 2500 culverts and 50 bridges. This work is often isolated and working in teams of 2 is critical not only to cover the volume of assets to inspect, and more importantly to ensure remote working is executed safely. Reporting to the Inspection Supervisor, you will have responsibility and commitment to the following:

• An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility

• Review previous inspection reports in AIMS and SAP.

• Reporting of new defects and changes to existing defects as per standards.

• Follow PMO1s, including daily time confirmations and raising of defects with priorities.

• Provide reports detailing concerns and furtherer requirements.

• Report all events and hazards to direct supervisor.

• Ensure that the all work is maintained in a clean and safe way ensuring minimal impact on the environment

• Requirement to travel remotely and autonomously throughout the rail network

• C Class Manual Drivers Licence

• A proven track record of safety management

• Excel and word experience preferred

• Ability to pass a CAT 1 Rail medical

• SAP work management experience Desirable

• Must be able to work at a high standard autonomously

• Proven commitment to safety
