What You Wil Be Doing
WorkPac is actively recruiting for experienced Communications Technicians. Working at the Rio Tinto Coastal facility, you will be:
Safely carrying out inspections, scheduled maintenance and breakdown maintenance of all SC components that are part of the Port Communications network E.g. VMR, Fibre Network and part of the Rail Systems Infrastructure
Maintaining onshore and offshore marine communications infrastructure.
Managing customer expectations
Identifying improvement opportunities
Ensuring that maintenance is of a high quality and re-work is not required
Using SAP to raise notifications, complete time confirm and enter reliability and maintenance activity information.
Long distance driving on gravel roads
What You Will Need
The successful candidate will possess:
Exposure to MX base radios, SIMOCO SRM mobiles, Solar power systems, Analogue voting networks
Trade qualification in Radio Communications or Electronic Communications
Mobile radio network experience (Wi-Fi)
A good understanding of IP based protocol
Western Australian C class driver???s licence
