About our Client

Our Client is a multi-national mining company operating open-pit coal mines that produce high quality coal.

About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance Officer for Prestrip Operations to join the Mine on a DIDO or residential basis. The site is located approximately 30 minute drive from Moranbah in Queensland.

The assignment duration for this assignment is until November 2023.

Reporting to the Prestrip Superintendent, the key purpose of this role is to support the Overburden Department in safely delivering productivity and cost objectives for fleet componentry.

This will be achieved in line with the Sites SHMS and promote the team to drive compliance, training and reporting initiatives that positively influence the safety culture and performance of the site

Required Experience/Skill

  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills and proactive in forward planning

  • Strong attention to detail, document management and analytical problem solving

  • Previous Supervisory experience essential

  • Ability to understand legislative and procedural requirements
