Construction Lead

5/2, 4/3 roster FIFO from Perth

Based on site at Cape Lambert

12 month duration with potential for extension

About our client:

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Construction Leads to join our Sustaining Capital CLAHDO Project Team to support the delivery of the CLA High Density Ore Project at Cape Lambert Port A near Wickham Township. You will be working a 5/2, 4/3 roster, FIFO from Perth and this project will have a 3 year duration with potential to extend.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Collaborate with the Senior Advisor to ensure that the construction methodologies are sound with appropriate risk assessments and controls are managed throughout the implementation phase.

Participant in regular work front HSE audits in conjunction with the Project Advisors and the HSE Advisors.

360 focus on the business safety improvement plans Embrace, lead & build a strong safety culture.

Leveraging the broader organization (internally and externally) for HSE value creation through sharing knowledge, experience, skills and resources.

Developing and implementing robust and practical construction.

Development and implementation plans, documents and standards.

Liaison with operational areas with regards to coordination between major shutdown and tie-ins and operational requirements.

Provide commitment, direction, and support to the implementation of the shutdown and tie-ins management plans.

Management of Construction team allocations and rosters.

Strong leadership and coaching of the Construction team and Construction support team.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary projects (i.e., building, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, civil and earthworks).

Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities.

Experience with building fabrication and construction within a brownfield environment.

Exposure to RTIO Processes and systems advantageous (particularly in Project Delivery teams).
