About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking a Cost Control Advisor to join our client based on a mine site in the Nhulunbuy area, on a FIFO 2:1 Roster or residential. A great opportunity to provide support including change management, estimation, forecasting, cash flow report, progress measurement, claim processing, cost accruals, cost reporting and providing inputs into Weekly & Monthly Reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports the creation and maintenance and reporting on the project forecast
Set up and issuance of cost reports, including cost control curves
Implementation of effective contingency, project progress measurement practices and change management process
Supports compliance with standardized processes, systems and tools
Analyses and reports budget and cost variations
Assists in the development of Final Forecast Cost (FFC) and proactive identification of risks
Provides technical support to project stakeholders and liaise with stakeholders
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in a Cost Controller position
Strong communication, time management and organisation skills
High Attention to Detail
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
SAP experience
Current Australian 'C' class driver licence
Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
