About the Role:

Workpac are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative - Internal Sales for an opportunity with our industrial client based in Perth.

Our client is a leading international company specialising in motion and fluid control technologies with a focus on industrial automation, commercial vehicles, energy and rail. They are expanding their Australia operations and are looking for a skilled Customer Service - Internal Sales representative to join their expanding team. This role will report to the Regional Manager and provide supper to the sales team as well as customer orders and enquiries. This is a full time, permanent role based at our clients office in Kewdale, Perth.

Key Duties:

  • Processing all customer orders and enquiries and ensuring all documentation and communications are conducted as per the Company Quality Assurance objectives, policies and procedures;

  • Supporting the sales team with assistance to process all documentation related to simple quotations, price requests, urgent order deliveries or pick-ups, literature requests and liaise with other departments to support development of sales; and

  • Actively growing sales to existing and new customers.

  • Record all incoming phone call activity in CRM in accordance with Company policy and procedures.

  • Identify request for credits via Customer and Warehouse, process credit memo and forward to designated personnel for approval

  • Make outward bound, proactive telephone calls to customers to help generate sales.

  • Ensure any unresolved product; technical or commercial enquiries are referred to the relevant Technical Support or the Area Sales Manager as soon as practicable

Experience Required:

  • Exceptional customer focus and service skills

  • Highly developed sales, enquiry/order processing and administration skills.

  • Good writing and verbal communication skills.

  • Advanced computer skills

  • Good mechanical aptitude

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • High attention to detail and results orientated.

  • Must have full working rights in Australia
