About the Role
Our client is seeking a customer Service Scheduler who is responsible for responding promptly, in a positive, professional and timely manner, to internal and external customers, by listening effectively to determine the best course of action and implementing timely action to meet the customer's requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Liaison with plant staff, Account Managers & Site Coordinators to ensure best
possible customer service and ensure individual customer requirements are
achieved.
Maintain up to date knowledge of assigned products, services and plant
capabilities/capacity.
Responsible for all fleet scheduling & ensuring delivery requirements until jobs
are complete.
Operate to KPI???s and key measurements for individual and team to meet target
performance levels within the CSC and service.
Engage with & coach other schedulers where required for continuous
improvement for scheduling & planning.
Captures and maintains cycle times, service interruptions to ensure continuous
improvement of service levels.
Constant awareness of daily truck unavailability and adjust scheduling to meet
customer needs. Escalate dealing with truck unavailability to the Scheduling
Supervisor.
Ensure efficient and effective daily scheduling and oversee dispatching of
deliveries to meet customer service requirements.
Work with other schedulers, plant teams and drivers to ensure right load into
right truck to right job to keep informed of the plan.
Constant feedback to the CSOs to ensure proper order placement & information
to maximize truck utilization and lowest cost of cartage.
Essential Requirements
Strong knowledge of geography area and suburb locations.
Strong industry and logistics knowledge preferably in pre-mix
concrete or distribution industry.
Preferred logistics experience
Right to Work in Australia
Must be able to pass full medical & DAS
