• $31/hour (base rate) - overtime paid at penalty rates + $22/day travel allowance

About Our Client

Involved in roadworks and construction of new sub-divisions, our client is looking to add a Roller Operator to their civil crew. The operator will be responsible for operating the smooth drum roller and be able to labour where required. The project involves upgrades on a carpark together with the development of a new subdivision. The site is based in Richlands (QLD) and the successful candidate will be available to commence immediately.

What You Will Be Doing

Working 9-10 hour days, Monday to Friday (weekends optional), you will be expected to work autonomously and be available to commence immediately. You will be responsible for all roller operations (smooth drum), along with various civil based labouring duties such as stringing lines, grade checking and shovelling curb. The successful candidate also needs to be confident rolling on pavements and have previous experience working in road construction.

What Will You Need?

• Construction White/Blue card

• Roller ticket/licence

• Previous experience working in a similar role

• Driver's licence + transport

• Strong work ethic

• Ability to complete manual lifting and labouring activities

• Ability to work as part of a closely knit team

• Positive attitude and willingness to progress within the company
