About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters with Leading Hand/Supervisory experience for work in an Open Cut Coal Mine based near Biloela.
An exciting opportunity to demonstrate your extensive knowledge in maintenance and management of scheduled services, repairs, break downs and overhauls. You will lead a dynamic team of maintenance personnel working on dump trucks, dozers, graders and excavators.
Engaged through WorkPac on a contract basis you will follow the sites lifestyle roster Including pyjama (5/4/4/5) with camp and meals provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Focused and committed to upholding all safety standards and procedures

• Manage maintenance schedule

• Lead a team of diesel fitters, auto electricians and serviceman

• Carry out and ensure completion of inspections and servicing

• Oversee and support component overhauls

• Reporting to supervisors, planners and superintendent

• Liaise with maintenance and production teams

• Advise and assist on field break downs

Skills and Experience:

• Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter

• Mining Supervisory Qualifications - S1, 2, 3 + G2

• Knowledge and experience working on CAT 789, KOM 930 trucks, Liebherr 996b excavator

• Current Drivers Licence

• Standard 11

• Coal Board Medical

• Right to Work - Australia
