About Our Client

Our client produces and exports the highest quality hard coking coal, which is used in steel production for critical building and infrastructure around the world. WorkPac and Anglo American have an established, strong and long-standing partnership at Dawson Mine.

Dawson Mine is an open cut metallurgical coal mine operation made up of three operating pits North, Central and South. The mine life of Dawson is anticipated to be operational for at least the next 14 years.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be working in a workshop environment carrying out maintenance, servicing, repairs, rebuilds and diagnostics across a range of heavy surface earthmoving equipment such as:

• Dump Trucks

• Graders

• Loaders

• Other auxiliary equipment as required

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience performing maintenance, break downs and servicing on surface mining equipment

• Relevant heavy diesel trade qualification

• A Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years (or willingness to obtain)

• Current QLD drivers licence (manual, minimum)

• Unlimited right to work in Australia
