About the role

We are seeking a experienced Diesel Fitter/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic for a local role in Townsville. The successful applicant will be required to do scheduled maintenance, repairs and installations of a wide range of equipment. Conduct PM generated services, repairs and maintenance to a high standard.

• Ensure close out of service records with informative feedback/history notes on all equipment

• Continually identifying opportunities to improve

• Full-time role working alternating day/night shifts on a 5/4.4/5,5/5 âlifestyleâ roster

• Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping

• Complete risk assessments and prepare each job to work safely at all times

• Liaise with other maintenance team members to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and timely manner

Essential Quals

• Trade qualified in a relevant field and have experience with maintaining and servicing heavy equipment and/or mobile equipment.

• Experience in pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical system repair and maintenance

• A HR licence or above would be advantageous

• Complete full medical for site
