ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market, and the largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking 3 production processing operators who have the experience and/ or ability to monitor and control the operation of an open cut CHPP; crushing, conveying and yard machinery.

Opportunities for up skilling for individuals who demonstrate a passion for upholding their key value. As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the client's production processing requirements. This is a drive-in drive-out (DIDO) and fly-in fly-out (FIFO) site in the Isaac region situated 15 minutes from Moranbah.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential.

It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful you will have a minimum of 6 months demonstrated mining experience with a minimum skillset of one or more of the below processing competencies, to be verified by a signed SSE/ Delegate signed skills list.

• RIIPHA302D Operate and monitor filter processes

• RIIMCP202D Conduct rail dispatch operations

• RIIPRO301D Conduct crushing and screening plant operations

• RIIPRO302D Perform processing control room operations

• RIISRM302D Conduct stockpile reclaiming operations

• RIIWBP203D Treat and dispose of rejects and tailings

• RIIMCP301D Monitor coal preparation plant operations

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Sound Work History

• Current Drivers Licence

• Right to Work in Australia

• SSE/ Delegate Signed Skills List

• Coal Board Medical or willing to obtain

• Electrical Trade or Mechanical Trade

• Coal handling (CHPP) experience or relevant

• Minimum 6 months mine experience

• Standard 11 or equivalent or willing to obtain
