About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join the Rio Tinto team based in Perth. The successful candidate will work a Monday to Friday roster. This role will be for a 6 month duration with potential to extend.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Complete work in compliance with Document Control processes and practice
Interface with Project personnel and Contractor for any Document Control issues
Project Document Control reporting and analysis
Ensure final deliverables handed over to RTIO Drawing Office
Escalation to Senior Document Controllers, process or procedural risks or issues that require attention/mitigation
Support and back-up for the assigned Delivery Team Document Control Coordinator Process/Procedures
Undertake the control, capture, registration and dissemination of information across the Project team members and Asset/Operations in compliance with RTIO Document Control processes and practice
Reporting on Project or portfolio deliverable status
Skills & Experience Required:
2 years minimum in Document Control
General understanding of Document Control requirements
Document Control transaction processing, in compliance with standards and procedures
Internal stakeholder and Contractor engagement
Updating Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
General computer skills
