About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Draftsperson for our client based in North Brisbane. Permanent, full-time position. The successful candidate will liaise and communicate with all relevant departments within the company and with customers on conceptual plant/equipment layouts and general arrangement drawings.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Component design/production and manufacturing support.

• Producing detailed manufacturing drawing packs.

• Drawing support for manufacturing personnel and field service personnel.

• Updating and maintaining the drawing library/vault.

• Document control/issue of drawing packages to factory and/or customers.

• Prioritize support to sales staff to provide same day outcomes.

• Develop relationships and procedures with UK CAD department to achieve seamless integration.

• Exhibit a duty of care to work safely, taking reasonable care to protect their health and safety and that of colleagues and others.

Skills and Experience

• Obtained Engineering Diploma or similar

• Experience working with Solid Words and AutoCAD

• Experience in industrial mechanical and structural drafting principles.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Technical understanding.

• Efficient time management and organisational skills.

• Good documentation skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• MS Office proficiency
