ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market, and the largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Operate Marian and BE draglines

• Operate CAT D10 and D11 Dozers

• Cable handling

As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the client's production requirements. This is a drive-in drive-out (DIDO) and bus-in bus-out (BIBO) site (from Yeppoon and Rockhampton) in the Blackwater region.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate Marian and BE Draglines, as well as a CAT D10 or D11 Dozer.

• An absolute commitment to working safely on 12.5 hours shifts, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential.

• It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• RIIMPO329F Conduct Dragline Operations

• Minimum of 6 months demonstrated mining experience

• Current Drivers Licence

• Right to Work in Australia

• Dragline experience

• BMA Core or Standard 11

• SSE/ Delegate Signed Skills List

• Minimum 6 months mine experience
