About the Client

Our Client is a market Leader delivering integrated total waste management solutions across Australia, sustainability is the core of everything they do with a key focus on the environment and economy of the future. Due to continual growth, they are currently seeking experienced Heavy Combination Drivers in Brisbane.

What you will be doing

You will be required to work Monday Friday with occasional Saturdays commencing at 05:30am completing 10-12 hours per day. As a Heavy Combination driver you will be responsible for operating a large prime mover truck through various suburbs across Brisbane, providing a bin collection service for multiple clients and customers. Having a strong understanding of road safety and being customer service focused are two of the key requirements for this role.

What you will need

• Must have a current Heavy Combination Drivers licence

• Must pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen prior to commencing

• Minimum 6 months experience operating a Heavy Combination vehicle

• Previous experience in waste management highly advantageous

• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle & equipment

• Ability to communicate with all customers & clients to a professional standard

• High level of focus to all workplace OSH items including road safety and fatigue management
