BMA Blackwater Mine, a joint venture between BHP and Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd, is an open-cut coal mine located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, Australia. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Dump Truck Operator at Blackwater Mine, you will play a pivotal role in our mining operations, facilitating the safe and efficient transportation of materials. Key responsibilities include:

Safely and skillfully operating heavy-duty dump trucks, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.

Transporting overburden, coal, and other materials from mining areas to designated dumping points within the mine site.

Conducting pre-start checks, routine inspections, and reporting any equipment defects or issues promptly.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Minimum of 6 months experience as a Dump Truck Operator in a mining or heavy industry environment.

Current and valid Queensland Coal Board medical and Standard 11 Induction certifications (or willing to obtain).

Competency in operating Caterpillar 789, 793, or similar haul trucks.
