About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer. This role will report to the Senior Project Engineer and will provide Electrical Project Engineering expertise on a number of sustaining capital packages of work which are being undertaken in the Greater Brockman region.

Ideally you will have experience in electrical design and project management or looking to gain experience in project management, this role also has the potential for fulltime employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilising the Sustaining Capital project procedures to assist the various Project Leads to move the projects through the stages Pre-Feasibility, Feasibility, Implementation and Close Out

• Establishing scope of works, liaising closely with the Brockman site operations and maintenance teams

• Determining optimum design solutions in consultation with the design teams

• Coordinating technical queries through the design team

• Reviewing construction methodology and tender documentation

• Reporting progress to multiple stakeholders

• Managing Quality & Risk

• Providing Safety Leadership & ensuring the highest HSEQ standards are being met at all times

About You:

• 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role(Mandatory)

• Background experience in electrical design and wanting to gain experience in project management

• Project engineering experience with EIC projects in the mining industry in the Pilbara

• Experience in design and construction of fixed plant automation is highly regarded

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to work autonomously, show initiative and be driven to achieve results

• Current "C Class" Driver's License

• Full Working Rights in Australia
