We have a permanent position available for an Electrical technician based in Salisbury

What you will be doing
This position will involve servicing and installation of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment to our clients standard of quality and excellence, whilst exceeding customer service expectations.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Service Fire, evacuation, and special hazard systems

• Service, inspect, test, install, maintain, and commission Fire detection, warning systems, gaseous

• suppression systems & emergency / exit lighting

• Survey customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment

• Report work progress and performance by completing reports both written and using handheld device

• Comply with all customer and company policies, procedures, and processes

• Maintain best in class customer service

• Provide technical assistance / backup for on call technicians & customers

What you will need

• QBCC license - Install-Maintain Electrical Stream

• QLD Electrical trade qualification

• Telecommunication cabling License desirable but not mandatory

• Sound knowledge of the applicable Australian standards relevant to Fire systems protection equipment

• Demonstrated experience in fire systems inspections & maintenance

• Up to date product and industry knowledge of Australian standards, Fire alarm & electrical systems

• Panel programming experience- Notifier, Tyco, VESDA

• Ability to work alone and in remote areas
