• Earn up to $80,000 per year + 10% Super + OTE Entitlements

• 9-day fortnight roster with one scheduled day off every two weeks

• Completing commercial works on behalf of QLD Health across various sites

About the Client

Providing health services to over 300,000 people across Somerset, Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley and Ipswich communities, our client offers preventative and primary health care services, ambulatory services, oral health, mental health, and other specialized services. They are currently seeking an experienced commercial electrician for maintenance, refurb and refit work based at Ipswich Hospital.

What you will be doing

You will be required to work Monday - Friday from 7am - 4pm on a nine-day fortnight roaster. You will work 8.5 hours for the first 8 rostered days and 8 hours on 9th day. There will also be some overtime required based around an on-call weekend roster once every 6-8 weeks. The role will be split between Wacol Park & Ipswich Hospital rotating every three months.

What you will need

• A recognised Electrical Trade Qualification/Licence

• Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Work Licence

• Ability to pass a Federal Police Clearance check

• Strong Commercial experience: Working with larger commercial sites/ large stakeholders

• Construction White Card

• Ability to meet schedule and project deadlines

• Ability to work autonomously in the role and willing to assist other tradespeople where required

You will require the below vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)

• Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A

• Covid 19 (Double Vax) - as you are working in a hospital
