Opportunities exist for skilled and experienced Electrical Fitter/Mechanic. You will provide support to the Electrical Team Leader. This position is integral to the electrical team day labour workforce and is responsible for the effective maintenance and construction work practices and providing prompt and effective supply of services to Water Network and Water Treatment clients.

An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standardâs and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential. It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, house keeping and compliance with mine working procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

⢠Queensland Electrical âCertificate of Competency❠- Electrical Fitter/Mechanic.

⢠Construction Blue/White Card.

⢠QLD âCâ class drivers license.

⢠Switchboard rescue & resuscitation certificate.

⢠First Aid & CPR certificate or ability to attain prior to commencement.

Desirable

⢠Confined Spaces Certification.

⢠Working At Heights Certification.

⢠Elevated Work Platform Certification.

⢠Telecommunications ACA - Open Cablers License.

Skills

Essential

⢠Strong personal organisation skills

⢠Ability to construct written reports

⢠Well developed interpersonal skills along with the ability to create and foster a positive team environment and resolve conflicts if they occur

⢠Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
