Enterprise Applications Engagement Lead / Project Coordinator

About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Engagement Lead to join our leading Mining client based within the Brisbane CBD. This position will hold an Monday to Friday roster, 12 months in duration with potential opportunity for extension.

The primary objective of this role is to lead, manage, and execute the planning, definition, and delivery of key enterprise applications initiatives. This requires close collaboration with various business partners at both local and global levels. Our primary enterprise applications portfolio includes S4HANA, BW, SAP Fieldglass, SuccessFactors, among other prominent products. Having technical knowledge of the applications is not mandatory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to decipher business needs and translate them into technical solutions in alignment with our business and technology roadmaps.

  • Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and technology teams (local & global internal teams, 3rd party service providers) to ensure the most efficient, timely solutions are developed, and delivered.

  • Manage and coordinate with vendors, specifically application development and support partners.

  • Facilitate the simultaneous delivery of multiple, diverse initiatives.

  • Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail within business engagements.

  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bring experience and insights from an IT/management consultancy background, combined with a meticulous attention to detail.

  • Have a proven ability to engage effectively and forge cohesive relationships with a varied mix of stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Be a results-driven professional, who can articulate a clear vision, develop a strategic roadmap to achieve it, and adeptly leverage delivery partners to execute plans with efficiency and speed.

  • Exhibit superior communication skills, both written and oral, with a knack for influencing, persuading, and negotiating effectively.

  • Be an experienced project manager/coordinator with a minimum of 5+ years in a comparable role, with a track record of successfully completing projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with set objectives.

  • Possess proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a PMP, Prince2, or similar certification being an added advantage.

  • Be a proactive self-starter, adept at prioritising and managing multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Be a team player, fostering positivity and collaboration, with an ability to motivate others and promote team cohesion.

  • Demonstrate effective executive-level communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Hold a tertiary degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of project requirements, the ability to convey complex concepts to a wide range of stakeholders, and the skill to quickly comprehend objectives, retain critical information, and adapt to changing requirements.
