About the Role:

In partnership with our leading renewables client WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Officer for a wind farm project commencing mid July. This role will be for an initial three to four month period during land clearing activities, based 20 minutes from Kojonup, WA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Compile and submit relevant documentation as required

Conduct Environmental inspections and reporting and close out of action items.

Ensure that high standards of Health, Safety and Environment are maintained in all activities, and aim to continually improve those standards

Monitor contractor activities to ensure works are being undertaken in accordance with agreed environmental controls.

Administer environmental management systems as required.

Advise management and assist with compliance to existing and new environmental legislation, rules and standards locally and internationally.

Skills and Experience:

Relevant Tertiary Qualification (or a related discipline)

Demonstrated experience reporting on environmental performance, compliance and defects and/or non-conformance.

Ability to support stakeholder groups and teams within areas of responsibility such as communicating within Project Team, with contractor employees and front-line managers.

Strong communication skills

Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite

Current Australian 'C' Class Driver License
