About the role

We are seeking an Estimator for a permanent position with our client. Your primary objective is to ensure the business delivers quality, safe & profitable projects for their company who specialises in high end residential and small commercial construction - apartments, multi residential town houses.

Duties will include:

• Estimating (including SOW, Take-offs, BOQ's, project delivery methodology)

• Project Tendering (including securing & assessing quotes)

• Contract Administration (head contract & subcontracts)

• Document Control

• Purchase Orders (assessing & preparing)

• Job costing & costing reporting

• Site & office meetings (prepare for and contribute to)

• Quality Assurance (compiling QA documentation)

• Supplier & subcontractor payment certification of invoices & claims

• Project variations (client & subcontractor)

• Project risk identification & management

• Continuous process improvement

Skills and Experience

• 3 years or more experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Building & Construction (minimum Certificate IV) or Structural Engineering is essential

• Experience with Microsoft office inclusive of MS Excel (Advanced), Access, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook

• Previous experience with Bluebeam and / or PlanSwift

• Exposure to MYOB is desirable, not essential.
