About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Expediting Officer for a Tier 1 mining client that is location 150 kilometres south-west of Mackay. This contract is for a 6 month duration with the potential to progress to full time employment.

Reporting to the Supply Superintendent, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and cost-effective procurement that ensures a sustainable operation for the mine.

Responsibilities will include:

• Workorder auditing and compliance

• Purchase requisition conversions

• Purchase order updating

• Overdue order expediting

• Invoice reconciliation

• Supplier Liaison

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working as an Expediting or Purchasing Officer, or similar

• Previous experience working in a heavy industrial mining environment.

• Proficient in SAP or similar ERP system

• Strong communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11, or Willing to Obtain

• Valid QLD Drivers Licence
