About the Client

Our national client is a leader in the industrial manufacturing sector and is currently seeking experienced Overhead Gantry Crane / Machine Operators to join their growing business.

This role will be on a temp/casual basis with the option to transition to a permanent salary-based role with our client after a period of 6 months.

What you will be doing

• Conduct prestart checks on all plant and equipment

• Pick & assessable associated building accessories

• Load building & assembly

• Loading & unloading vehicles of mesh, coils & accessories by forklift or overhead crane

• Use loading PC & RF Scanners

What you will need

• Hold current QLD High Risk Forklift License and have experience is operating a large forklift.

• Minimum two (2) years experience in overhead crane / gantry operation

• Experience in steel or heavy manufacturing environment

• Complies, understands and follows WH&S obligations in the workplace.

• High level of self-motivation & ownership
