About the Client

Our client is a specialist landfill gas, leachate and ground gas equipment & service provider. They have been leaders in this field for over 30 years.

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking an experienced field technician to assist in the installation of gas collection systems and leach aid systems in various locations around the western suburbs of Melbourne.

Salary: $70k to $80k base plus super (salary will be negotiated depending on your civil experience)

Day shift: 7am to 5pm (Mon to Fri)

Company vehicle will be provided for the successful candidate.

This role would suit someone who has a solid 6 months of civil labouring (pipe laying) work experience as well as someone who is tech savvy as the role does require the successful candidate to enter data and produce report for senior management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Installation work -laying pipes, hooking up manifolds, digging trenches using machines

• Carry out monitoring and maintenance work (servicing flares, servicing/cleaning equipment, calibrating equipment etc)

• Using clients in-house mobile apps/data management systems to produce reports for key stakeholders

• Following our clients direction on site

• Adhere to all COVID-19 and safe work practices as instructed by our client

Skills and Experience

• Must have civil labouring background ??? pipe laying essential

• Be tech savvy ??? will need to be able to enter in sample data and produce status reports

• Be willing to do both labouring and office roles

• Must have a white card and current drivers license

• Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19/Have a valid medical exemption letter

• Need to be physically fit to be able to carry out the pipe laying duties

• Must be reliable and commit to working full time hours

• Need to have full working rights in Australia ??? this is a full time position with full time hours

• Be able to provide 2 work referee???s to vouch for your civil labourer experience
