About the Role
Our client is in search of a Financial Accountant to join their team. You will be responsible for statutory reporting including the preparation of monthly, annual financial statements and utilise your technical experience to ensure taxation compliance is adhered to. This is a contract opportunity up to 12 months with hybrid working arrangements based out of Oran Park for an immediate start.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the production and preparation of Annual Financial Statements (General Purpose, Special Schedules and Special Purpose) in accordance with current Australian Accounting Standard Board and Local Government Code of Accounting Practice.
Conduct trend analysis of income and expenses line items, and balance sheet accounts in development of Financial Statements monthly.
Responsible for the development of Policy and procedures to ensure processes are accurate and reliable within the Financial Accounting Section.
